Isco's Life and Career Journey in Football "He has never let his physical condition limit him to become a footballer"

Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez or better known as Isco was born on April 21, 1992 in Benalmadena, Spain. Isco was born into a humble family of Paco Alarcon and Jenny Suarez. His father is a former employee at a hotel who is now his manager and agent, while his mother is a housewife.

Isco was born with a condition that is not so straight. He also experienced body fatness as a child. Obesity is what makes him unable to straighten his legs. Only the slight curvature of his legs could be healed when Isco began to grow. Isco grew up with his older brother, Antonio Carlos Alarcon.

Since childhood, Isco has never let his physical condition limit him to become a footballer. Isco worked hard to lose weight before entering his first football academy. In addition, his motivation for becoming a footballer came from his brother who lost his football career due to injury early on.

In 1997, after receiving the blessing from his parents, Isco registered himself at the PDM Benalmadena youth club. As a child Isco also took formal education.

When playing, it is very clear that Isco's running and dribble styles are very different. With the slightly curved foot condition that was feared would hamper his career, that would actually be an advantage for Isco. Even the different shape of the legs make it move differently and help it give good results.

Thanks to his hard work and abilities, Isco then joined Atletico Benamiel at the age of 7. Every afternoon, after school, Isco always practices with his relatives and friends at the Atletico Benamiel field. In fact, if none of his friends can be invited to play, Isco does not care because he can still play even if he is alone.

The development of Isco at Atletico Benamiel for seven years has run smoothly. On their way, there were Spanish clubs who scouted the Isco, but they never called him because Isco had non-straight legs, so they were worried that Isco would not be able to develop.

Finally only Valencia took the bold step by recruiting Isco, who was then 14 years old. Isco then signed a contract and spent three years playing at the Valencia academy.

In 2009 to 2011, Isco played for Valencia B, as a midfielder Isco performed brilliantly with a record of 52 matches and scored 16 goals.

Isco made his debut with the Valecnia first team on November 11, 2010, against UD Logroñés in the Copa del Rey, in which he scored two goals in a 4-1 home win.

Isco played his first La Liga match on November 14, 2010, performing for 20 minutes in a 2-0 home win against Getafe CF after coming on as a substitute for Aritz Aduriz.

In the summer of 2011, Isco signed a five-year contract with Málaga for a transfer fee of 6 million euros, or around Rp 94 billion. Isco scored his first goal for Malaga on 21 November 2011 against the Racing Santander. In the next fight he scored again against Villareal.

His first season with Malaga went through brilliantly, with 32 matches and five goals, Isco also helped Malaga qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in history.

The following season Isco's performance was even better. On 18 September 2012, in Málaga's first match in the Champions League group stage, Isco scored two goals in a 3-0 home win over Zenit Saint Petersburg, he was also chosen as the Best Player of the match.

Three months later, Isco scored one goal and helped Malaga beat Real Madrid in La Liga with a score of 3-2.

At the end of 2012, Isco won the Golden Boy award, which is an award from a journalist for young players who performed neatly in Europe. He defeated Stephan El Shaarawy and Thibaut Courtois.

January 2013, Isco signs a new contract with Malaga. In the champions league event, Isco contributed greatly to the achievement of Malaga through the quarter-finals. In that season Isco scored 12 goals in 47 matches in all competitions.

Thanks to his impressive performances during the two seasons appearing in defense of Malaga, Isco is one of the most valuable commodities in the 2013 summer transfer window. Manuel Pellegrini, who has just become Manchester City's new coach, is very interested in bringing Isco to the Etihad Stadium.

But Man City lost quickly to Real Madrid who immediately submitted an offer of 30 million euros, or around Rp 470 Billion to Malaga for Isco. Malaga, which is in the midst of a financial crisis, does not need twice to enter into an agreement with El Real. Until in June 2013, Isco officially costumed Madrid at that time handled by Carlo Ancelotti.

On 18 August 2013 Isco made his official debut for Los Blancos, his debut ended sweetly because he made one assist and scored the 2-1 win over Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Isco's first season with Madrid went not too impressive. Ancelotti did give the opportunity to appear to Isco, but not as a regular player. In that season, Isco recorded 53 appearances by scoring 11 goals for Madrid.

Under the direction of Ancelloti Isco more often played from the bench. 2014/15 season Isco made 6 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions.

In 2015, the entry of Benitez even made Isco even more marginalized. Fortunately, Benitez only lasted for half the season at the Bernabeu. Benitez's position was taken over by Zinedine Zidane.

Supposedly, Isco could gain more trust when the reins of coaching changed, bearing in mind that Zidane was a figure who had a big hand in his move to Real Madrid in 2013.

A chance to play regularly is obtained by Isco, at the end of the 2015/16 season Isco recorded 43 appearances in all competitions, with 13 games starting on the bench and scoring a total of 5 goals. But at that time Isco was really exhausted. Even rumors of his move had blown fast though he finally chose to stay.

Isco appeared 30 times during the 2016/17 season, when Real Madrid won the La Liga title. Isco also appeared early in the Champions League final against Juventus, which Madrid won 4-1.

With Real Madrid Isco is known as one of the best midfielders in Europe. During his career at the Santiago Bernabeu Isco has won many prestigious trophies including four championship trophies and four inter-club world cup titles. Season 2018/19 Isco only appeared 37 times by scoring 6 goals.

On the international stage. Isco has been defending the Spanish national team in all age groups since 2008, starting from the u-16 to u-23 teams. In the Isco junior team took Spain ranked third in the 2009 U-17 World Cup and won the European U-21 title in 2013.

On 6 February 2013 Isco made his debut with the senior squad, he played the last 30 minutes in a 3-1 victory over Uruguay in Doha, Qatar. His first international goal for Spain occurred in the 2016 European Cup qualifier against Belarus on November 15, 2014. So far Isco has defended La Furia Roja 38 times and scored 12 goals.

Isco is not only known for playing techniques on the field, but Isco is also a great player off the field. He is known for his simple personal relationships. Isco has been in love with Victoria Calderon since 2010. Their relationship was blessed with a child born in 2014 under the name Francisco Alarcon Calderon.

Isco once brought his son to take a photo with the champions league trophy when Madrid won in 2017, he also took his son during training and hopes the child will become a soccer player in the future. After his relationship with Viktoria foundered, Isco had an affair with a model, Carmen Munoz.

Now the 27-year-old is still believed to be the backbone for Real Madrid.
