Jordan Brian Henderson was born on 7 June 1990 in Sunderland, England, to the couple Brian Henderson and Liz Henderson. Jordan began the 2016/17 season with a regular appearance at the starting eleven and on September 16 scored a spectacular goal from 25 meters against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. In that match Liverpool won 2-1, and for that goal earned him the Goal of the Month Premier League award for September 2016.
In that season, Jordan again had to deal with injury problems so he only appeared one more time than the previous season.
