Juventus managed to get three points after beating Spezia at the Allianz Stadium in the 28th week of the Italian League Serie A, Sunday, March 6, 2022. The Old Lady managed to win with a narrow score of 1-0.
Spezia had four shots on goal from nine scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, Juventus fired ten shots and only three were on target.
With this victory, Juventus has now collected 53 points. The Bianconeri remain in fourth place in the provisional Serie A standings. Juventus are only six points ahead of Atalanta who are in fifth place. While Spezia ranks 16th with 26 points.
The additional three points from the duel that was held at the Allianz Stadium further strengthened Juventus' position in the top four. It didn't stop there, they were also getting closer to Inter Milan, who was at the top of the standings.
Control of the game has been held by Juventus since the beginning of the match. But there was not much they could do considering Spezia was quite disciplined in organizing the game. In the first 10 minutes, the game felt quite slow.
Juventus' patience paid off in the 21st minute. Spezia's discipline did not last long. Starting from Ivan Provedel's mistake, Juventus made a quick attack. The ball went from Dusan Vlahovic, Manuel Locatelli, to Alvaro Morata who then scored the first goal! 1-0.
The goal made Juventus more confident in attacking. However, Spezia herself has learned and is able to minimize mistakes. The 1-0 score lasted until the referee ended the first half.

Spezia is increasingly disciplined in defending. But that doesn't mean they forgot to attack. In the 51st minute, Emmanuel Gyasi directed the ball into the bottom corner of the Juventus goal with a header. Unfortunately the opportunity can be stopped by Wojciech Szczesny.
